IC&E Technician III

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and optimize electrical equipment, instrumentation, and plant Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
• Monitor and repair gas turbine and steam turbine control systems, generators, transformers, and switchgear
• Perform complex troubleshooting and calibration of plant electrical and control systems
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to execute organized maintenance tasks
• Optimize preventative maintenance programs to meet OEM recommendations and regulatory requirements
• Provide senior-level technical expertise, resolving complex issues and guiding other team members
• Maintain professional logs, manuals, blueprints, and operating procedures
• Incorporate safe behaviors into all activities and comply with all health and safety policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or degree from a technical/vocational school
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrument, electrical, and control system applications
• Proven experience with DCS programming and configuration
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an advanced understanding of electricity, mathematics, physics, and chemistry
• Valid state driver’s license
