About the role
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in industrial settings.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using testing devices and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Maintain electrical control systems including Servo systems, OITs, PLCs, loop controllers, sensors, and vision systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Commission, program, and diagnose motion systems and manage software/hardware for control and data systems.
- Collaborate with maintenance mechanics and engineering teams to address electrical issues and optimize line setups.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance activities and repairs.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of AC/DC control circuits and 3-phase electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (reading and writing code) and machine vision systems.
- Ability to commission and program servo drives.
- Intermediate computer skills and strong mathematical reasoning.
- Ability to work 2nd shift and perform manual tasks requiring dexterity and visual acuity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Robotics.
- Ability to navigate and adjust vision inspection systems.
- Experience with Allen Bradley or Emerson servo systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
