I&C Engineer - Nuclear

Responsibilities

• Interpret and support the development of logic diagrams, block diagrams, and process displays for control systems
• Assist in designing and reviewing I&C system architecture within nuclear-grade environments
• Support HMI (Human Machine Interface) logic and display validation in control rooms
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure functional logic supports system performance and safety
• Apply understanding of PLC systems and logic flow
• Contribute to documentation, configuration management, and design tracking

Requirements

• Degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• 3 to 12 years of experience in I&C, electrical, or systems engineering
• Knowledge of logic systems, HMI design, and control room engineering environments
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and process flowcharts
• Experience working in highly regulated sectors such as nuclear, defence, or energy infrastructure
• Exposure to PLC environments (e.g. Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell)

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with control system engineering documentation
• Experience or academic exposure to industrial logic systems and functional architecture
