Al Jomaih Energy & Water (AEW) is a fast-growing investor, lead developer, and operator of utility and infrastructure projects in various geographical markets such as KSA, GCC, Asia & North Africa, with investments in 6 GW of Conventional and Solar power plants.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise all I&C works executed by the EPC contractor and their subcontractors
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, national and international standards (e.g., IEC, ISA), and HSE regulations
• Review and approve I&C installation and commissioning procedures
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, control philosophy reviews, and FATs
• Review and comment on I&C drawings, instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, I/O lists, and control logic documents
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines to resolve interface issues
• Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning of I&C systems including loop checks, calibration, and signal verifications
• Verify compliance of DCS/SCADA systems and ensure proper integration with plant systems
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, deviations, and resolutions
• Comply with and constructively participate in Project HSSE activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience as an I&C Engineer in Power projects
• Mandatory experience in Combined Cycle power plants
• Proficiency in I&C design software and CAD tools
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control principles, practices, and standards
• Excellent project management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
