IC&E Technician III

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and calibrate electrical equipment, instrumentation, and plant Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
• Monitor and repair gas turbine and steam turbine control systems, generators, transformers, and switchgear
• Perform complex troubleshooting and resolve escalated technical issues independently
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to execute required maintenance efficiently
• Optimize plant preventative maintenance programs to meet OEM recommendations and regulatory requirements
• Provide on-the-job technical training and guidance to other team members
• Maintain accurate logs, manuals, blueprints, and operating procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or a degree from a technical/vocational school
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in instrument, electrical, and control system applications
• Proven experience with DCS programming and configuration
• Strong mechanical aptitude with an advanced understanding of electricity, mathematics, physics, and chemistry
• Valid state driver’s license
