About the role

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and implement UVM verification for breakthrough Ethernet/networking IP and SoC products
  • Build directed and random verification tests and debug test failures to determine root causes
  • Perform trade-off analysis on performance and complexity to ensure high-quality IP delivery
  • Review functional and code coverage metrics and modify tests to meet requirements
  • Produce detailed IP functional and implementation specifications and documentation
  • Drive continuous improvement in design and verification methodologies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IP and System on Chip (SoC) products
  • Thorough knowledge and expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM Verification
  • Proficiency in EDA tools and scripting languages including Python, TCL, Perl, Makefile, and Shell
  • Experience with revision control systems such as Git
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Formal and Functional Safety Verification
  • Knowledge of state-of-the-art networking technologies and TCP/IP protocols
  • Experience with data products such as routers, bridges, and switches
  • Experience with security or cryptography
