About the role
Responsibilities
- Design processes to extract, transform and load source data to target data warehouses
- Develop Standard and Big Data jobs in Talend
- Develop complex sequential and parallel DataStage 11.3 jobs
- Perform unit and system testing on ETL processes and resulting data tables
- Create test cases and perform data testing
- Assist with capacity planning and performance tuning activities
- Mentor team members on product functionality and industry best practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Talend Standard and Big Data development
- 5-7 years of experience in IBM DataStage Development (Enterprise 11 and higher)
- Knowledge of Redshift and cloud database development/tuning
- Strong S3 knowledge
- Strong Unix/FTP scripting knowledge
- Strong understanding of Oracle 11g and data analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Data Warehouse appliances
- Experience with BI reporting tools such as MicroStrategy
- Experience in the media industry
