IB Operations - Trade & Processing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned processes and controls for transaction booking, pre-matching, settlement, and reconciliation in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage new account openings and reactivations while reconciling daily execution details between local ledger systems and global allocation files.
• Pre-match trades with local custodian banks and report status to Front Office and regional Client Service teams.
• Monitor intraday settlement status and resolve settlement issues or client queries professionally.
• Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory requirements, as well as internal policies.
• Drive system enhancements, automation initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of equity settlement experience.
• Direct exposure to KRX, KSD, KSFC, and Koscom (Powerbase, KOSMOS Neo).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; VBA (macro) skills are considered a significant advantage.
• Fluency in both English and Korean.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a logical and creative approach to tasks.
• A strong interest in digitalization, automation, and process improvement.
