IB Business Control Unit (BCU) Client Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Participate in global client risk and reporting processes, including presentation, escalation, and tracking of risk issues to resolution
• Provide support for core Business Control Unit (BCU) processes and governance activities
• Drive ongoing enhancements to the effectiveness and efficiency of BCU processes
• Support regulatory and Internal Audit engagements, contributing to various inquiries and exams
• Maintain high-standard client risk documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Proactively identify and execute opportunities to improve client risk management culture and outcomes
• Support the resolution of ad hoc client escalations and participate in strategic data initiatives

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in institutional banking, specifically in front office roles or relevant control functions
• Deep interest in institutional financial products and markets, including equities, fixed income, and financing products
• Experience working closely with institutional banking control functions, such as Compliance, Credit Risk Management, and Operations
• Proficiency in core business software and applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong ability to develop trust and partnerships with a broad set of team members and stakeholders
