IAM Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions across AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to define and implement IAM roles and policies.
• Build automation and reusable libraries to enable self-service IAM provisioning.
• Deliver IAM solutions using CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and validation.
• Develop and secure REST and SOAP APIs.
• Contribute to DevOps and Agile delivery practices within a Tier 1 global financial institution.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in Cyber Security or Information Security.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud-native services.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on Python coding experience.
• Mandatory Associate or Professional Cloud Certification (AWS or GCP).
• Mandatory Associate or Professional Cyber Security Certification.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, encryption, and network segmentation.
• Experience with threat modeling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, PASTA, or MITRE ATT&CK).

Preferred Qualifications

• CISSP certification.
• AWS Security Specialty or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
• Experience working within complex global financial services environments.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks like PyTest, Behave, or JUnit.
