IAM Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management processes for IAM tools
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents impacting production IAM environments
• Troubleshoot provisioning failures, authentication/SSO/MFA issues, and access workflow failures
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge articles
• Maintain and optimize IAM tools, workflows, and reporting to identify automation opportunities
• Support upgrades, patches, migrations, and integrations through test plans and validation activities
• Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to manage the identity lifecycle (JML processes)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in IAM, IT operations, or cybersecurity
• Hands-on experience with directory services such as Active Directory or Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Practical knowledge of authentication technologies including SSO and MFA (e.g., Okta, Duo, Ping, or RSA)
• Strong understanding of IAM fundamentals: RBAC, JML processes, and least privilege principles
• Proven experience in incident resolution and troubleshooting live IAM environments
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent documentation abilities
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with IAM solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta, CyberArk, or Ping
• Experience managing IAM integrations, migrations, or large-scale upgrades
• Exposure to automation or workflow improvement initiatives
• Experience working within global, cross-functional environments
