IAM Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management processes for IAM tools
• Troubleshoot IAM issues including sync errors, provisioning failures, and authentication issues
• Create and update detailed technical documentation, runbooks, and SOPs to support audit readiness
• Maintain and optimize IAM workflows, processes, reporting, and automation opportunities
• Support upgrades, patches, and migrations by executing comprehensive test plans
• Collaborate with cyber engineering, IT, and business application teams to enhance identity security posture

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IAM operations, IT operations, cybersecurity, or a related technical field
• Hands-on experience with directory services such as Active Directory or Entra ID
• Working knowledge of IAM concepts including RBAC, SSO, least privilege, and JML processes
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience configuring IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, or Ping
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management)
• Experience with security operations workflows or collaborating with a SOC
