About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead data analytics initiatives and transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence and storytelling reports.
- Design and develop impactful visualizations, executive-level dashboards, and compliance reporting for leadership.
- Automate reporting frameworks and recurring reports to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT data pipelines in Databricks to process large datasets into analytics-ready formats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reusable datasets.
- Partner with stakeholders in compliance, governance, audit, and development to drive consensus.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in data analytics and business intelligence reporting.
- Strong expertise with reporting and visualization tools, specifically Microsoft Power BI.
- Advanced experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Advanced experience with Databricks, including building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and optimized data models.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or an equivalent field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Programming experience in Python or R for advanced data analysis.
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
- Experience working within large financial organizations.
- Experience with cloud environments, specifically AWS.
