About the role

Responsibilities

  • Recruit students for Taglit-Birthright Israel trips through effective marketing and recruitment strategies
  • Build relationships with Greek Life students and leadership to introduce them to the Hillel community
  • Serve as the primary staff for Birthright Israel trips each season
  • Manage a team of recruitment interns to reach a diverse student population
  • Develop ongoing engagement opportunities for program participants and alumni
  • Maintain records of events, attendance, and one-on-one interactions for evaluation
  • Staff Shabbat dinners and other large-scale Hillel programming

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-3 years of professional work experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects with multiple moving parts and meet deadlines
  • Commitment to Hillel’s pluralistic vision of Jewish life

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Greek Life
  • Experience in community organizing, Hillel, youth movements, or camping
  • Experience in Israel education, advocacy, or experiential Jewish education
