About the role
Responsibilities
- Build hundreds of personal relationships with students
- Manage ClarkU Hillel’s Birthright Israel program including recruitment, interviews, and pre-trip orientations
- Recruit and coordinate 2 Israel Engagement Interns
- Coordinate and teach Jewish Learning Fellowships and/or Kol Yisroel programs
- Participate in E-board, coordinating council, and Israel/Diaspora Committee meetings
- Oversee the IACT Birthright Budget and student group funds
- Coordinate Erev Shabbat activities and Hillel-wide events such as holiday meals and retreats
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional work experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Entrepreneurial energy and passion for Israel
- Highly developed logistical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
