I/E Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, instrumentation, and process control equipment including power distribution, motor controls, and PLCs.
• Perform calibration, diagnostics, and monitoring of chemical process industry instrumentation (level, flow, pressure, temperature, and valves).
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical supply systems including motors, drives, MCC, transformers, and wiring.
• Apply Clariant Life Saving Rules to all work to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and basic computer skills to access CMMS, training modules, and technical drawings.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including night shifts and weekends as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or a 2-Year Technical Degree.
• 5 years of I/E experience, OR a 2-Year Technical Degree combined with 3 years of I/E experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to 180 feet.
