About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the safe operation and maintenance of all I&E systems to ensure a secure environment
- Resolve and refine plant instrument, electrical, and control system needs to maintain optimal performance
- Perform analyzer calibrations and care to support technical precision
- Carry out work orders and maintain detailed PM records within the Maximo CMMS
- Guide and support I&E project implementation, ensuring alignment with quality standards
- Contribute suggestions to advance plant safety, efficiency, and quality
- Support all safety, health, environmental, and process safety management (PSM) procedures
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (2-year technical degree preferred)
- 5+ years of I&E experience
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Ability to maintain, repair, and calibrate analyzers, transmitters, and control valves
- Basic understanding of control systems and facility processes
- Strong emphasis on safety and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb vertical ladders
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights
- Willingness to work on-call, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the gas or chemical industry
- Experience in the semiconductor industry
