About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform upkeep, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance for plant instrumentation including valves, transmitters, PLCs, and analyzers
  • Coordinate site instrumentation calibrations and maintain accurate records in the CMMS program
  • Read and interpret instrument schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, and electrical diagrams to ensure operational excellence
  • Oversee instrumentation projects from scoping to implementation, including contractor management and scheduling
  • Maintain and support analytical instrumentation such as Valco and Orthodyne detectors and real-time gas analyzers
  • Comply with all safety protocols, including Safe Work Permit processes, LOTO, hot work, and confined space safety
  • Collaborate with other maintenance crafts and participate in plant outages as a key contributor

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Associates degree preferred
  • 6+ years of combined technical training and/or operations experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of transmitters, PLCs, analyzers, and valves
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and PLC diagrams
  • Ability to work on call, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to safely work on electrical equipment up to 480V
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work on elevated platforms up to 80ft
