About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, troubleshooting, analysis, and installation of analyzers, electrical power distribution systems, PLC control, and field measurement instruments.
  • Develop I&E discipline deliverables including control philosophies, Cause and Effects diagrams, P&IDs, area classifications, and electrical one-line diagrams.
  • Manage the change process for instrumentation, controls, and electrical design packages.
  • Deliver I&E engineering construction work packages by collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, and Technical functions.
  • Participate in safety reviews such as HazOps and HazAn.
  • Provide technical recommendations, equipment troubleshooting, and guidance for technical inquiries.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of on-site facility experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a recognized university.
  • Configuration experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen-Bradley or Emerson PAC).
  • Experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (AVEVA System Platform).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in an Automation Systems role with an owner-operator, control systems supplier, or systems integrator.
  • Experience executing greenfield and/or brownfield projects in onshore, upstream, oil and gas facilities.
