Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventative and periodontal treatment to an existing patient base
• Conduct patient assessments and provide oral hygiene education and preventative care
• Perform scaling, debridement, periodontal maintenance, and other treatments within your scope of practice
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with Australian standards and regulations
• Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and administrative team to ensure a positive patient experience
• Adapt to different practice environments and systems to support continuity of care

Requirements

• Qualified Dental Hygienist or OHT (graduate or experienced)
• Registered to practice in Australia
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dental team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in using modern dental technology (intraoral cameras, digital radiography, and dental software)
