Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hygiene team, delegating tasks and monitoring the execution of cleaning schedules
• Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to ensure compliance with hygiene standards
• Provide training and support to hygiene staff regarding best practices and safety protocols
• Coordinate with management to arrange cleaning schedules that align with production needs
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, audits, and compliance
• Ensure stock levels of cleaning supplies are managed effectively
• Foster a culture of hygiene awareness and safety within the team
• Participate in meetings focused on continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Proven experience in a hygiene or cleaning leadership role within a food production environment
• In-depth knowledge of hygiene standards and health and safety regulations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team
• Excellent organisational skills and capacity to prioritise tasks
• Strong communication skills for effective interactions with staff at various levels
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude
