Hygiene Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the hygiene team in internal and external quality assurance of hospital hygiene
• Create hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection plans
• Develop service instructions and SOPs for hygiene-relevant processes
• Monitor compliance with hygiene regulations and conduct internal inspections
• Prepare for and follow up on inspections by supervisory authorities
• Provide advice on hygiene-related questions
• Conduct training and further education on relevant topics

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a healthcare and nursing professional
• State-recognized hygiene specialist or specialist in hygiene and infection prevention, or willingness to complete this training in the near future
• High level of reliability, responsibility, and quality awareness
• Appreciative and helpful attitude toward colleagues
