Hygiene Specialist

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal and external quality assurance of hospital hygiene
• Create hygiene, cleaning, and disinfection plans
• Develop service instructions and SOPs for hygiene-relevant processes
• Monitor compliance with hygiene regulations and conduct internal inspections
• Prepare for and follow up on inspections by supervisory authorities
• Provide advice on hygiene-related questions
• Conduct training and further education on relevant topics

Requirements

• Completed training in health and nursing care
• Several years of professional experience
• Completed training as a hygiene specialist or interest in completing it
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Organizational skills and structured way of working
• Flexibility, sense of responsibility, and commitment
• Competent and friendly communication with patients and staff
