Hygiene Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform specialist cleaning of food production and packing areas
• Dismantle expensive machinery and clean individual machine parts
• Reassemble machinery and complete necessary hygiene checks
• Prepare areas and equipment for the next day’s production cycle
• Report any equipment faults to the maintenance staff
• Follow strict policies and procedure guidelines to ensure high hygiene standards

Requirements

• Experience working in an environment where high-care cleaning is essential
• Knowledge of hygiene standards within a production or food preparation environment
• Ability to carry equipment up and down ladders
• Strong practical manual work skills
• Ability to work quickly and methodically while following detailed procedures
• Ability to work independently and maintain personal quality control
• Strong awareness of Health and Safety protocols
