Hygiene Operative

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and surrounding outdoor areas
• Operate mechanical cleaning equipment including sweepers, scrubbers, and jet washers safely
• Remove debris and litter from the hub floor and site
• Assist with large-scale spillage removal
• Perform equipment checks before and after use and report any defects
• Manage waste by emptying and replacing bins and skips
• Follow company recycling and health and safety protocols

Requirements

• FLT Counterbalance licence
• Experience in cleaning roles preferred
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
• Strong time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
