About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of food preparation areas, storage, and dining spaces
  • Monitor and document HACCP procedures and critical control points
  • Investigate food safety incidents and implement corrective actions
  • Train kitchen, housekeeping, and operational teams on hygiene and sanitation protocols
  • Maintain detailed records for regulatory review and internal documentation
  • Coordinate with external health authorities during inspections
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and food safety equipment
  • Report findings and recommendations to senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Food Science, Hotel Management, Microbiology, or related field
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in hotel hygiene or food safety
  • Proven knowledge of local food safety regulations and international hygiene standards
  • Experience conducting food safety audits and HACCP assessments
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent documentation and report-writing skills
  • Certification in HACCP, Food Safety Management, or Quality Management systems
