Hydrogeologist

Responsibilities

• Support groundwater investigations, water management, and impact assessments for mine sites globally
• Undertake field work planning, including subcontractor liaison, logistics, scheduling, and safety documentation
• Execute field work such as drilling rig supervision, lithological logging, monitoring bore installation, and groundwater sampling
• Contribute to hydrogeological analyses, visualizations, and conceptual site models
• Prepare technical documentation, figures, and reports for clients and regulators
• Compile, analyze, and interpret field and project data to support technical assessments
• Collaborate with senior hydrogeologists to deliver high-quality technical services and comply with SHEQ requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related geoscience discipline
• 1+ years of experience in hydrogeology or a related field
• Ability to travel away from home office location for up to 14 days at a time
• Ability to work in remote outdoor locations and adverse weather conditions
• Unrestricted driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Field experience including working with drilling crews, lithological logging, and groundwater data collection
• Experience using GIS or similar tools to visualize data
• Competent technical reporting and data interpretation skills
