Hydro Project Construction Site Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination and workforce supervision
• Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company standards
• Oversee scheduling, material deliveries, inspections, and daily site logistics
• Track project milestones and provide detailed progress reports to senior management
• Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges to minimize delays
• Maintain thorough and accurate site documentation, including logs, reports, and compliance records

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction site supervision
• At least 5 years in hydroelectric or heavy civil projects
• In-depth knowledge of hydro project construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
• Familiarity with project management tools like Procore, MS Project, or Primavera
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
• Ability to travel and work in remote locations and extreme weather conditions
