About the role

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical liaison to resolve customer concerns regarding aircraft hydro-mechanical systems, actuation, and components.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic system problems and provide engineering dispositions for discrepancies.
  • Support the analysis, definition, and verification of basic requirements and technical documentation.
  • Create technical documentation including service letters, drawings, specifications, and manuals.
  • Conduct root cause analysis with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for complex design non-compliances.
  • Assist in the design and analysis of interim and final engineering solutions to return aircraft to revenue service.
  • Support technology development by gathering data, assisting with testing, and documenting findings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences).
  • Willingness to work non-standard shifts, including occasional Saturdays and Sundays, to support 24/7/365 fleet operations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time.
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 to meet export control requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Direct experience with hydraulic systems, hydro-mechanical components, or related fields.
  • Strong aptitude for presenting technical information to senior leadership.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple cross-functional teams.
