About the role
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical liaison to resolve customer concerns regarding aircraft hydro-mechanical systems, actuation, and components.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic system problems and provide engineering dispositions for discrepancies.
- Support the analysis, definition, and verification of basic requirements for in-service issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including service letters, drawings, specifications, and manuals.
- Conduct root cause analysis with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for complex design non-compliances.
- Assist in the design and analysis of interim and final engineering solutions to return aircraft to revenue service.
- Support technology development through data gathering, testing, and documentation of findings.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Material Sciences).
- 3+ years of experience with Hydraulic Systems, Hydro-Mechanical components, or related fields.
- Ability and willingness to work non-standard shifts to support 24/7/365 fleet operations, including occasional weekends.
- Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 to meet export control requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Hydraulic Systems or Hydro-Mechanical components (Level 3).
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 10% of the time.
- Strong aptitude for presenting technical information to senior leadership.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple team functions.
