Hydraulics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer specifications and estimate engineering design and testing costs
• Conduct technical feasibility studies and final designs for hydraulic units, focusing on cost, manufacturing, and assembly
• Manage prototype preparation and define validation processes
• Evaluate final products regarding performance, quality, and safety
• Resolve field and internal claims using the 8D problem-solving method
• Support operations and production by troubleshooting day-to-day engineering issues
• Prepare technical reports and manage project risks and opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar engineering role
• Proven experience in hydraulic design and development from concept to production
• Experience in electro-hydraulic and hydraulic cylinder design
• Proficiency in Solidworks and 2D/3D drawing knowledge
• Knowledge of the 8D problem-solving process
• Strong communication and cross-functional teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive product development processes
• Experience with statistical data analysis
• Familiarity with Six Sigma, Red X, or Five Whys root cause analysis
• Fluency in English
