HW Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and run experiments to validate the performance of new designs and analyze results
• Develop and maintain automated test applications and GUIs for production, validation, and reliability testing
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams across the product lifecycle
• Develop test systems using embedded hardware and Python
• Design, build, and deploy custom physical test fixtures and jigs for R&D and manufacturing
• Perform hands-on root cause analysis and debug electrical and mechanical failures at the component or PCB level
• Architect and implement data visualization and test result reporting

Requirements

• 3+ years of hardware/software development experience with a focus on integrated systems
• Proven track record of shipping high-volume consumer products
• Proficiency in Python or C#/WPF for developing test GUIs
• Experience with git, GitHub, and command line scripting tools
• Hands-on skills in soldering, wiring, and debugging
• Familiarity with hardware communication protocols such as I2C and SPI
• BSEE, BSCE, BSCS, BSME, or equivalent degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
• Experience with manufacturing support in Asia and willingness to travel to China as needed
