H/W Development (Electronic System Design)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware (electronic systems) for mass-produced home appliances, including water purifiers, bidets, air purifiers, and autonomous robots
• Analyze product requirements and design electronic architectures
• Select and verify electronic components such as sensors, actuators, and power supply units
• Develop control algorithms for sensor signal processing (temperature, flow, water level, pressure) and drive units (motors, pumps, heaters)
• Establish reliability evaluation standards and verify electronic component performance
• Ensure compliance with international electronic standards (UL, CE)
• Manage BOM, create assembly process drawings, and review mass production feasibility
• Analyze and resolve quality issues during development and mass production
• Review electronic designs and conduct technical consultations with ODM partners

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Control Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering
• For entry-level candidates: Master's degree or higher is required
• For experienced candidates: 5+ years of relevant development experience in the industry
• Ability to submit a portfolio (for experienced roles) or a Master's thesis (for entry-level roles)

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX UG) or other CAD tools
• Experience in developing home appliances or water purifiers
• Experience managing ODM development projects
• Experience in heater control and sensor control algorithm development
• Experience with BLDC or Step Motor control
• Experience applying distance measurement sensors such as ToF, LiDAR, ultrasonic, or infrared sensors
