HVAC/R Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems
• Diagnose equipment issues including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• Provide technical support and professional customer service on-site
• Complete service reports, work orders, and digital documentation accurately
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours emergency service work
• Maintain and operate tools, equipment, and company vehicle safely

Requirements

• Journeyperson HVAC/R Technician trade certification
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial HVAC/R service work
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Physical capability for lifting, climbing, working at heights, and in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

• B Gas License or Manitoba Gasfitter B Certification
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and advanced controls
• Familiarity with mobile service management platforms
• Safety certifications such as First Aid, Fall Protection, or Confined Space
