HVAC/Boiler Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and inspections on boilers, HVAC equipment, glycol boilers, air conditioners, and heating systems in gas compression and measurement facilities.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using technical reference manuals, documentation, and vendor support.
• Lead and manage low to medium complexity projects, ensuring safe and efficient completion through effective work management.
• Supervise and coordinate third-party contractors.
• Complete job quality assurance documents (JQAs), job safety analyses (JSAs), and electronic documentation.
• Utilize SAP to complete work orders, enter data into job plans, and create new work orders.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to other personnel while demonstrating safety leadership.

Requirements

• Gas Fitter – Class A certification.
• 2 years of technical training from a recognized institution.
• Valid driver's license and ability to provide a driver's abstract.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the work schedule, including overnight stays.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical screening, including drug and alcohol testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in a related field (e.g., Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, Gas Fitter).
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing boilers and HVAC equipment in industrial facilities.
• Experience with SAP or other computerized maintenance management systems.
• Experience interpreting technical reference documents and reading drawings.
• Refrigeration ODP Certification.
