HVAC Utilities Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all HVAC Utilities and cleanroom cGMP systems across the site
• Serve as the primary point of contact for HVAC Utility projects, participating in all phases from conceptual design to commissioning and qualification
• Review design documents, commissioning protocols, FAT, SAT, and SDS documents
• Support validation efforts through Controlled Temperature Unit (CTU) document reviews and investigations
• Manage the initiation and completion of deviations, CAPAs, and change controls for utility systems
• Ensure adherence to preventative maintenance programs and include new equipment in plant maintenance and calibration schedules
• Perform root cause analysis and investigations relating to system or equipment malfunctions
• Support the Site Wide Energy and Sustainability Program and provide technical support to enhance utility reliability

Requirements

• Multi-disciplined experience across mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Engineering or Utilities/Facilities project role
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a cGMP industrial environment
• Practical knowledge of Site HVAC Systems and Controlled Temperature Units (CTUs)
• Hands-on technical experience with building management systems (BMS) and facility systems
• Proven experience implementing root cause analysis and investigation practices within an Operational Excellence environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for interacting with cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and operations staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant professional engineering experience
