HVAC Test Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform setup, operation, and maintenance of HVAC testing equipment and laboratory areas
• Build and adapt test setups based on blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering instructions
• Execute defined test plans and datasheets to evaluate sample performance and operation
• Record, explain, and report test results and data on appropriate company forms
• Communicate with customers and engineering management regarding test methods and results
• Perform routine maintenance and basic calibration of designated test equipment
• Identify and recommend solutions for observed test problems or equipment design improvements

Requirements

• Vocational training or a degree in HVAC
• Universal EPA certification
• Strong electrical aptitude
• Ability to work onsite full-time in Plano, TX
• Availability for 3rd shift (11pm–7:30am)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with residential HVAC systems

Benefits

• Base salary range of $50,000–$65,000 plus a 15% 3rd shift differential
• Annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5%
