HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform testing, adjusting, and balancing to ensure proper operation of HVAC systems for institutional clients such as hospitals, labs, and higher education facilities
• Conduct critical space testing to measure airflows, confirm room pressurization, and calculate air change rates
• Execute pre-commissioning tasks to confirm mechanical system installations meet contract documents and owner specifications
• Perform functional performance testing to verify HVAC equipment operates according to design intent
• Complete all assigned training and adhere to company safety, ethical, and conduct policies

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and basic computer/tablet skills
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within the DMV and southern Pennsylvania regions
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow direction from senior staff
• Valid COVID-19 vaccination and ability to receive yearly flu shots to meet healthcare client requirements
• Ability to work minor off-hours shifts as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship, leadership, or relevant technical experience
