HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on coolers, freezers (including Ultra Low temperature units), and industrial air handling systems
• Operate centrifugal and reciprocating refrigeration chillers
• Maintain chilled water systems, including distribution, condenser pumps, and air compressors
• Conduct daily rounds on all HVAC equipment and operate the facility-wide Building Automation System (BAS)
• Execute preventive maintenance and repairs while adhering to SOPs, cGMPs, and GDPs
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors for scheduled or emergency maintenance
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for site emergency work

Requirements

• AAS degree in a relevant field
• EPA certification for refrigeration gases
• Solid understanding of industrial HVAC systems and Air Handler Units
• Experience with Chilled Water Systems and Building Automation Controls
• Ability to become fully gown qualified to work in production areas
• Experience level requirements:
• Technician II: 2+ years of relevant experience
• Technician III: 5+ years of relevant experience
• Technician IV: 8+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with electronic, PLC, mechanical, and building automation systems within the pharmaceutical industry
