About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintaining cooling systems by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components
- Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment
- Performing maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment
- Responding to service calls and emergency call outs in a timely manner
- Completing daily work reports accurately and timely
- Operating and maintaining a motor vehicle safely and legally
Requirements
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification
- 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience (commercial preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel extensively and handle occasional overnight stays
