HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain air compressors, chillers, and plant HVAC equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on facilities equipment and log work orders via CMMS
• Monitor and maintain air leaks throughout the facility using available technology
• Maintain plumbing and fixturing in plant restrooms and breakrooms
• Clean facilities equipment to facilitate inspections and repairs
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of facilities supplies
• Operate all equipment safely and abide by all company health, safety, and quality policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of related HVAC experience or training
• Valid OSHA and EPA refrigerant certifications
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift and aerial platform licenses
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• Proficiency in basic mathematics, including algebra and geometry for calculating volume and area

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
• Experience with Customer Specific Requirements in a manufacturing environment
