HVAC Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs for all site HVAC systems, including air handlers, steam boilers, hot water boiler systems, and chilled water systems.
• Maintain A/C package units, freezers, walk-in coolers, and kitchen equipment.
• Manage auxiliary electrical systems associated with HVAC and DDC controls.
• Inspect, monitor, and provide preventive maintenance to ensure the college campus remains in optimal condition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in facilities HVAC maintenance and/or commercial/industrial construction.
• CFC Universal Certification (completion within the first 6 months of employment is required if not already held).
• Proven knowledge in refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolds, work in tight spaces, and stand on concrete for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and background check.
