HVAC Technician II

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heating and ventilation equipment, pumps, fans, compressors, and other mechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC control and operating systems using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Execute refrigeration repairs and air handler maintenance.
• Conduct electrical repairs, plumbing, welding, and general mechanical maintenance as required.
• Follow strict safety guidelines, including lockout/tagout procedures and the use of required PPE.
• Coordinate work with outside contractors and ensure all building standards and codes are met.
• Work the 3rd shift (typically 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM) and participate in a rotating weekend on-call schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in an HVAC or mechanical specialization.
• Valid EPA 608 Universal Certificate.
• Ability to operate an aerial lift at heights of 30ft or higher.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and kneeling.
