HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on indoor air, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC systems and provide replacement options
• Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, filter replacements, and system tune-ups
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
• Ensure all work meets safety and industry regulations
• Maintain accurate service records and document recommendations and repairs
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned jobs efficiently
• Stay up to date with industry advancements and best practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance, service, and repair
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and refrigerants
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school or HVAC certification
• EPA certification
• Journeyman's license
