HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules on associated HVAC systems
• Collaborate with managers to maintain systems in peak operating condition
• Perform ductwork modifications, repairs, brazing, soldering, and refrigerant charging
• Execute water piping and insulation modifications and repairs
• Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Adhere to OSHA, EPA, NIOSH, NFPA, ASME, and NEC regulations
• Identify problems, analyze causes, and evaluate appropriate solutions

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• Four years of professional experience with HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Certification or registration as an HVAC technician
• Universal certification from the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI)
• Knowledge of electrical safety, tubing, pipe-fittings, and rotating machinery
• Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams
• Physical ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and lift 25 lbs
• Availability to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation
