HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Maintain boilers, package rooftop systems, heat pumps, and unit heaters
• Respond to emergency service calls and perform preventative maintenance with detailed reporting
• Recover, recycle, store, and dispose of refrigerants according to environmental regulations
• Perform minor electrical repairs including controls, contactors, motors, and wiring
• Navigate, diagnose, and repair BAS systems
• Price and scope out reactive repairs and small projects

Requirements

• 313A Journeyman Refrigeration/HVAC certification
• 5 years of work experience in the HVAC field
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC equipment installation
• Strong BAS controls background
• Fall Protection certification
• Confined Space certification
• Elevated Work Platform certification
• Energy Safety Canada CSO
• Class A or Class B Certificate
