HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• PM and repair heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and components including boilers, package rooftop systems, heat pumps, and unit heaters
• Respond to emergency and preventative maintenance requests with detailed reporting
• Recover, recycle, store, and dispose of refrigerants according to environmental regulations
• Perform minor electrical repairs involving controls, contactors, motors, and wiring
• Navigate, diagnose, and repair BAS systems
• Price and scope out reactive repairs and small projects

Requirements

• 313A Journeyman Refrigeration/HVAC certification
• Gas Fitters G1 or G2 (G1 preferred)
• 5 years of work experience in the HVAC field
• G Driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC equipment installation
• Strong BAS controls background
• Fall Protection, Confined Space, or Elevated Work Platform certification
• Lock out Tag Out qualification
• UA 787 membership in good standing
