HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency
• Diagnose malfunctions using appropriate tools and implement effective solutions
• Respond promptly to guest requests and internal work orders
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team to coordinate maintenance schedules
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist in planning and executing capital improvement projects related to HVAC infrastructure
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or diploma in HVAC/R technology preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably in hospitality
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration principles
• Proficiency in troubleshooting using diagnostic tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
