HVAC Technician 2

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both at the Leduc Service Center and at various customer locations
• Set up and operate equipment independently or as part of a technician team
• Handle field repairs and maintenance tasks involving daily local travel in a company vehicle

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of experience with commercial HVAC equipment, including inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• 4+ years of experience with diesel, natural gas, or propane heating equipment
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics
• Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to move or lift objects, typically up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Willingness to learn power generation basics and basic mechanical servicing
