HVAC Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Complete full heat pump system installs from start to finish, including removing existing gas furnaces and AC equipment
• Execute refrigerant recovery, system evacuation, and proper charging with precision
• Read and work from blueprints and wiring diagrams to install accurately and troubleshoot
• Guide and support less experienced installers by dividing responsibilities and catching issues early
• Maintain high quality standards and ensure all jobs comply with local building codes
• Deliver a standout customer experience by communicating clearly with homeowners throughout the installation
• Collaborate with the engineering team to surface process improvements and help build out new market operations

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on residential HVAC installation experience
• Proven experience leading an installation crew and mentoring junior technicians
• EPA Section 608 Certification
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
• Strong refrigerant handling skills (recovery, evacuation, and charging)
• Physical stamina to work in attics, crawlspaces, and demanding environments
• Professional communication skills for interacting with homeowners and teammates

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with heat pumps or mini-split systems
